The challenges surrounding rare diseases, cancer and complex healthcare needs are too large for any one organisation to solve alone.
At Healing Wings Foundation, we believe that meaningful change happens when the right people, expertise and resources come together around a shared purpose.
Because collaboration turns individual efforts into collective impact.
Our collaboration work brings together stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem to address challenges, explore new possibilities and strengthen pathways for patients and communities.
We engage with:
Working with government stakeholders on healthcare priorities, screening initiatives, patient access and policy-related opportunities.
Building relationships with hospitals, Centres of Excellence and healthcare professionals to strengthen patient and clinical pathways.
Connecting with research institutions and scientific communities to explore research, innovation and knowledge generation.
Exploring partnerships that can strengthen access to diagnostic services, genetic testing and early identification.
Working with organisations and community networks to bring patient and community needs closer to healthcare initiatives.
Exploring responsible collaborations that can contribute to patient access, research, healthcare delivery and innovation.
Building relationships beyond India to exchange knowledge, explore research opportunities and strengthen global connections.
Every Partnership Begins With a Shared Question
Understand a healthcare challenge, unmet need or opportunity.
Bring together the organisations and people with relevant expertise.
Develop practical initiatives that respond to the identified need.
Translate ideas into programmes, research, advocacy or healthcare initiatives.
Measure, learn and build on what works to create greater impact.
Our existing work demonstrates how different stakeholders can come together around healthcare needs.
HWF has engaged with government stakeholders around initiatives including rare disease screening and patient access programmes. Proposals have been submitted to the Governments of Kerala and Tamil Nadu in these areas.
HWF has engaged with organisations and experts to explore rare disease research, orphan drug repurposing and clinical research opportunities. The Foundation has also recommended repurposed orphan drugs to ICMR for clinical trials in India.
HWF has engaged with the Debra Research Foundation, Germany, to explore EB research and potential collaboration, alongside its work on patient advocacy and policy engagement for Epidermolysis Bullosa.
HWF has engaged with institutions and experts including CDFD's Diagnostics Division and clinical/research stakeholders as part of its broader rare disease work.
Our projects create different opportunities for different partners.
These five programmes form HWF's current project framework.
Different Expertise. One Purpose.
We bring together a combination of:
Understanding healthcare challenges from the patient's perspective.
Connecting clinical and healthcare knowledge with programme needs.
Exploring new approaches to complex healthcare challenges.
Understanding the realities of healthcare access at the ground level.
Working across government, healthcare, research and other stakeholder groups.
"A healthcare ecosystem where no good idea, important insight or patient need stands alone."
We envision a connected ecosystem where:
Whether you are a government institution, hospital, researcher, healthcare professional, patient organisation, CSR partner, industry organisation or community organisation, there may be an opportunity to work together.
If there is a healthcare challenge worth solving, let's explore what we can do together.
