  • Building quickly growing structures in international medical environment and driving people management strategy, ensuring alignment with companies’ objectives.
  • Prepare and present accurate and concise concepts for the international transformational process in healthcare systems, with special focus on the MENA region and North America.
  • Maximize efficiencies of organizations through international hiring of experts, budget management and resource allocation.
  • Cultural sensitivity through global networks in and across Middle East and Asia.
  • Strategic analysis and execution of modern trends in medicine.
  • Structuring together with HR department of reward systems for coming up with innovative ideas, models to encourage to do what it takes to improve the way things are done.
  • Developing an atmosphere and system where leaders have been only involved while discussing the tasks and deciding on the goals, but after that team members had complete freedom on how they accomplished these goals.
  • Developing companies for IPO readiness and Series A funding rounds.

Epidemiological studies in neurogenetic etiologies (e.g. ROPAD study (Rostock International Parkinson's Disease Study); sifap-project; world largest study in young stroke patients); Biomarker research.
Since 1997 – 2023: Tenure track professorship (C3-Professor) for clinical Neurology, Professor for Neurology and Neurogenetics.
1995: Habilitation “Sequential Analysis of the Hypervariable V2-Doman of the HIV-1 Envelope Gene Region in the Cerebrospinalis Fluid“ with Venia legendi for Neurology.
